A little more fog. I have found that given a solid object to focus on no matter how dense the fog I can usually achieve a decent result.

Spring is now here in the Southern Hemisphere and yet this morning was a lot foggier than this one.

'smart photo fix', 'digital camera noise removal', cropped, framed, resized.

God created woman from the side of man.
Not from his head to be above him,
nor from his feet to be trampled by him.
From his side to be equal to him,
from under his arm to be protected by him,
from near his heart to be loved by him.

Nice shot David, you sure seem to get a lot of fog in Tasmania, but photogenic fog it is!
Good work.
Thanks for sharing.
Michael.

Great capture and contrast with the low wall taking your eye and drawing it towards the couple. Lovely angle too, not too high.

cheers

Steve

it's great, i Love the way you used the fog to create a nowhere space, an endless feeling...
great POV and use of the perspective.

Sabina

Should we name you the master of fog?
Great shot. Love to see (or not) the boardwalk disappear.
TFS.

The Boardwalk... There was a song about Under the Boardwalk... Was it there :)
It's an old reference about The Drifters lol!
The mood is great here! That little fog... the couple... Elements are well together!

Good one David! And I like your "God created woman from the side of man... etc"
And seeing the man and woman walking side-by-side in the fog here, I think you have fitted your photo in well with your words, and vice versa!
Thank you
Janice

Hi Dave,

Great shot of this misty boardwalk with strong lead-in lines! Not an easy shot as the camera would have a hard time adjusting to the conditions. Looks like you did very well :)
Great POV & notes!

Well done
Constantinos

godd comp, the mist adds so much to the mood of this beauty, well done, thanx, M, (*_*)

Hi David
I love how your composition sends the eye into the distance, along the boardwalk. Nice work! Thanks for sharing

Lovely shot, do you find ther is more detail picked up by the camera or is it about what you actually saw. It certainly looks suitably cold, shiver shiver shiver. We have had 10 days of the back to winter treatment so spring should reappear soon. Is there a roadway behind the fence/wall or is the road behind the houses? Thanks for doing the shiver for us.

Hello David,
great composition, the grtaphical lines and the repetition getting lost in the fog vreaste an incredible deoth in this shot. I also like the nice contrasts of the saturation created by the fog. Very nice POV and great angle.
Great shot.

Moody good use of line and shape on a fog as far as focus point pick a point far off and do the best you can wing it and you will wind up with interesting results

Hi David, Again another good foggy mood, & i appreciate you outstanding notes! For my personal taste i'll crop in portrait to make a simple composition depict more subject on the 2 person & the perspective bridge structure. How do you think?

Wong

Nice dreamy mood David. Could be a chill November shot in Holland Take care

Hi David,
I like this perspective and this fog. It is here almost a symbole. As if this couple advanced trustful in the life in spite of the difficulties which they will be able to encounter. Very good mood! Congratulations! Annie

Hi David,
Very amazing and Nice dreamy mood.
Best Regards,
Deniz.

Hi David, thx to Annie, who pointed out this photo! It is very lovely and so romantic with the people walking on the boardwalk in a foggy morning.

Very well captured with the lead of the boardwalk. Nice soft hues. Very sharp.

Take care, Yan :)

Very good! You are a master in this kind of shots!. soft, delicate, well composed and moody.
Well done!
Jacobo

david,
i should name you the "king of fog"!
once again, great composition with the elements.repeatation of the lamps and wooden planks(looks like they are)are nice touch. great composition.

lovely image David, next try and twist your camera slightly so the boardwalk is more angyular/ across. the wall gives the impresion of a leading line across the frame, but the joints/ lines of the boardwalk are dead straight, if they moved more from left to right, the picture would have had a lot more punch

cheerz

hi David,
this is really cool! Composition is just great. The two figures 'walking in' provide a very welcome enhancement to an already brilliant atmospheric capture.

Well done.

Hello David

I like the geometry of all the running lines in this picture. The composition is nicely done and the different shades of lighting is interesting.

Regards, Sylvain

Ahhh, we have a boardwalk here at Kemah and it is very much like this! A nice place to visit!
