There really is no place quite like it is there. I would qualify that as its a tourists delight especially one with a camera attatched to their paw. Hey David, ever thought of giving guided tours to tourists so they can take photos to take home and prove they were tere???? well why not, you have found some absolutely drop dead gorgeous countryside so why not advertise guided tours. hat way you only have to take them places not feed them unless you want to include that as well. Sandy, tell him its a good idea.

This is superb! This takes me back years to my early teenage days, reading about great naval stories of 18th and 19th century. I can almost see Captain Hornblower boarding the ship.

Hello David.
This last days I have been in Myanmar and in the Inle Lake I remembered your fog pictures because early in the morning the surface of the lake was covered with a thin layer or fog. The morning light and the fog created an irreal atmosfere over the quiet surface of the water.
Here you show us another excellent picture with great depth and great colours, and an incredible light.

the mist and the light create a wonderful mood. This is a timeless beauty, one does not know what to expect when the fog lifts. Do motor yachts pass by or does the pirate crew return to the ship. Very nice composition.

Hi David,

I went to Port Hardy a while back and this shot reminds me of the little harbour area they had! They had these touristy pirate ships that would take students on a week long cruise, showing them the ropes and what not. I didn't attend it but it looked like fun, but as we 'main landers' say it looked like a bunch of the Island hippies went on the cruise. :P

I love this image, quite eerie. And the way the sky alters in it's colours, well that's to put it lightly, superb! Everything is just so calm, and ah just alluring. Very well done!
