Roxby Sunset
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This photo was taken just outside Roxby Downs.
I came across this tree silhouetted by the sun setting behind it during one of my many exploration treks – there is not much else to do up there, lots of red dirt and open land!
This photo is as taken except for slight cropping, resizing for TL and boarder added.
Tell me waht you think; all comments, suggestions and critiques appreciated.
-------------------------------------------------
Roxby Downs is the most modern of outback towns. Set amongst rich red sand dunes and native pine, Roxby Downs is fast becoming an ideal place to start your journey of discovery into the 'real' Australian outback.
Located 550 kilometres north of Adelaide, Roxby Downs is connected to the Stuart Highway by 90 kilometres of sealed road. The well maintained Borefield Road connects Roxby Downs to the famous Oodnadatta and Birdsville Tracks.
Roxby Downs, is home to Olympic Dam mine, the largest mineral ore body of its kind in the world. |

Wonderful portrait Tracey,
great colors and nice POV, nice backlighting, but just a bit out of focus, anyway... very well done.

HelloTracey,
I like much this image, which resembles much a table of painter.
Framing particularly is successful.
Have a good day.

tracey,
excellent sunset with nice placement of the elements. great color and teh softness in this composition adds to the mood of the moment.
moody and fine, too. I like this one for the sun (or light coming from it) is not in the middle of the picture. thanks.
regards, cal
