[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Browsing through my old images, I found this one from back in 2003.

It was shot with a Canon Powershot S40, balanced on the windowsill of the hotel bedroom.

I like the layers, the colours, the swirl of the cloud and the wee sliver of moon.

Not really a lot alse to say about this, it's just a sunset shot, nothing fancy or clever, but I like it.

Marginal pp, some contrast and brightness adjustment.

Hi Richard

This has that real 'wow' factor. Stunning composition and the colours are magnificent. Awesome work. :-)

Hi Richard,
Ah Adelaide at night! I like the layers of colours and light in this image. The clouds are good too, though I'm biased, this is my nearest city to where I live! TFS
Cheers Tina :-)

Hi Richard,
Like Gypsygirl I live near Adelaide too. This is a glorious image which is taken from our foothills. I too like the layers of colours and the swirly clouds look fantastic. Magnificent shot, well done.
Cheers,
Debbie

Nice shot, great HUGE sky, with wonderful clouds, and a nice bottom covered with city lights.

Tom

Richard,
The bit of moon does it here for me. I like the nice "roll cloud" formation although it's probably not technically a roll cloud, it just resembles one. The orange gradient fading into the blue is superb! I also think the city and the lights give us a good sense of scale.
Nice work and well presented.
Scott

Hi Richard,

Perfectly level, great composition, wonderful soft colouring and a beautiful cloud formation.

Excellent capture

Hi Richard. Good composition for this wonderful colourful result. I especially like the big sky feel and the perfectly sharp moon. TFS. Murray.
