The public believed Sherlock Holmes was killed by Moriarty - they were wrong, it was staged.

The public believed Bobby Ewing was killed in Dallas - they were wrong, it was a dream.

And the public believed Sunshine Buddy was killed in the horrific Tragedy. Again, they were wrong!


I was fortunate enough to attend the Melbourne Grand Prix this weekend and who should I see driving a Ferrari but Sunshine Buddy!

I managed to sneak a few words with our old friend and he's been doing the usual F! driver thing - earning US$50m per year, travelling the world, sleeping with supermodels - that kinda thing. A tough life indeed, but he's bearing up and still has that cheery wee smile!


Sunshine Buddy aside, a few facts about F1.

The Steering Wheel: The driver has the ability to fine tune many elements of the race car from within the machine using the steering wheel. The wheel can be used to alter traction control settings, change gears, apply rev limiter, adjust fuel air mix, change brake pressure and call the radio. Data such as rpm, laptimes, speed and gear is displayed on an LCD screen. The wheel alone can cost about $40,000, and with carbon fibre construction, weighs in at 1.3 kilograms.

Excellent PP work and photography. The angle accents the degree of banking of the track. I have looked forward to this post....
It must be hard to find a helmet to fit this guy....but it seems he doesn't need one...he's indestructible!

Richard I think you should send this to Flair (Buddy) maker, Great capture of a driver, who needs no batteries.
went to his makers site and they do not have any F1 drivers.
but I found this about buddy

I just put this into the F1 group theme I created a few years ago. It definitely belongs there. Let's hope we get some good F1 moments this year. Pity you didn't get a shot of the Coulthard/Wurz crash. That would have been something to post. But this is almost as nice :-)
