[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A part of my Melbourne F1 2007 theme.

While standing waiting to get into the pit lane, a stunt team flew overhead. With thanks to Hans (GreenBaron), I now know these are "Pilatus PC9/A" planes...thanks big fella!

I think I have better shots of the planes overall, but this one stands out for me as the centre plane is upside down...I didn't notice that when I first went through the shots.

Shot in RAW, converted, slight crop, resized, frame added, sharpened and ran through NeatImage.

Well captured image Richard. Good colour under the aircraft, something that's not easy without blowing out the sky.
One suggestion though...try a much slower shutter speed for prop driven aircraft, stopped propellors tend to make the pilot sweat!

Peter.

Hi Richard,

First class action picture! . . Great detail and very sharp. I love the composition and flying combination with one plane upside down as the lead. Clear weather with blue sky as BG, adds values to the whole image.

Tfs,
Tjutjut

Hi Richard, it is strange the things you pick up whne going through the shots after downloading. These planes are also what the trainee airforce pilots use. Well done on the composition and the detail. TFS,
David

Hi Richard,
Same theme different pictures :) Excellent capture of this nice colourful fellahs. Was Saturday at Volkel AFB for an Airshow, saw these Pilatus PC9's from Switserland with nine of those aircraft acting together. Anyway again a superb aerobatic picture!

Hi Richard. You really know how to set and use your Canon. I like to see planes doing tricks like this from the ground. Here the clarity and colours are superb. Good work. Murray.

Richard,
you got the blue you got the red you got the smoke you got one upside down you got the shot!

I do like the composition here and the freeze of action. The contrast of the red on blue is nice as well as the matching frame. Well done MF,
Scott
