Bit left field. This is a large glass paper weight made by a friend many years ago during some experiments on using various raw materials to get new colours. The air entraped by the glass reminded me a bit of the atmosphere trapped in a glacier ready for evaluation a few centuries after being trapped.

Hi Murray
I do like this - almost an abstract, quite a fascinating texture and colours. I'm not sure I'd be happy to receive this as a birthday present but it's interesting enough to look at - and you're right, there is something glacier-like about those bubbles of air!
Nice work

Hi Murray,
Interesting image, it looks like an exotic meteorite with all those trapped gas bubbles.
Good focus over the sphere, what F-stop did you use?
Regards,
Peter.

Hi Murray.
Very Glassy. looks a bit like E T. Same wonder where it comes from.
Cheers, Jan

Hi Murray,

A kind of mystery inside this bottle. You captured with great detail. If I crop without the edge of the glass, may show different thing, and even getting mysterious.
Great shot.

Tfs,
Tjutjut

Hi Murray, it reminds me of some of the older glass marbles we had when we were kids. If we let our minds wander a bit it could also be some sort of alien life form. TFS,
David
