Solitude ii

| The same abandoned homestead as yesterday's post, from another angle. This region of South Australia is littered with the abandoned remains of rural life such as this, from small outbuildings to whole settlements. |

It's hard to say which one of these two I like better, and I'm hoping you've got more of this subject to post in the days to come.
I am sure this house could tell many stories. Did you venture inside and get any interior shots?
How often does it rain in this location? By the looks of it, not much!
Great use of B+W and main subject isolation again.

Both photos are very nice but I like this one more for the more intense solitude feeling I guess.

Hi Steve, it amazes me that farming persists out there. Another excellent conversion and the BW helps in portyaing the desolation and loneliness. TFS,
David
Many thanks for your comment on ‘Tamar Tranquillity VII’...If there is haze or fog around I am happy Steve. I can spend hours walking and taking photos in conditions such as this.
Hi there!
What a great shot!
I think the B&W works very well here, and your choice of composition is spot-on.
Well done!
