Hi Alaettin, I haven't been to this particular peak but what always amzed/amused me was seeing the gum trees and the snow. A lovely image, well composed and lovely shadow and light. 4 lifts now operational on Ben Lomond and the promise of more snow to come. TFS,

Hi Alaettin,
What a beautiful sight.. almost surreal with the snow up against the trees and the blue sky behind it.
The light is good, but the reflection in the lens makes a part of the tree look green (right above the sun).. Maybe some PS-work would be appropriate there. But overall: nice presentation!

You are quite right, this view gives me a little colder feeling during tropical summer that now is in Poland. And by the way, Kosciuszko was born in Poland but unfortunately he has never visited to Australia! Beautiful photo!

inanılmaz bir manzara, çook güzel. Yalnız güneşin üzerinde olan ve ağacın ana dalın üzerinde merceğe takılan yeşil şeyi çözemedim.
Her zaman kart postal görünümlü çekimler ilgimi çekmiştir. Biz burada kavruluyor iken bu muhteşem çekime bakarak bir nebze karlı, ayaz kış günlerin özlemini giderelim bakalım..

Well.. I have to said that it is not that hot over here at all...:P as you know is flooded in a lot of places, apperently the water level is still raising up tonite..:( not where I am thou.

Anyway, about your photos, I like your pov, great "silhouette", I like the rays shinning through, which is really nice.. great sharpness and colours, well captured, tfs

Hi Alaettin,
A lovely shot of the snow and trees with a strong blue sky in the background. Perhaps if you had stood a fraction to the right and partially blocked the sun it would have diffused the brightness a little - certainly a very attractive shot

Hi Alaettin

The scenery and wonderful, the trees give a beauty show in this white landscape of wonderful blue sky. Just a small loss in this green one that was in the stem of the it hoists, probably reflex of the sun in his lens.
But it didn't remove the beauty of this landscape!

Hello Alaettin, this is great. I really like the composition adn youve managed to create a very good scene. Nice work on the exposure. My only minor point would be to do something about the green (lens flare?) on the tree trunk. Apart from that it's fantastic! Well done.

Oh for a bit of snow to relieve the 40+ temps here!

I like the direct sunlight in this shot and you've controlled the exposure well in difficult light conditions. The play of light, shadow and colour is just right.

Hello Alaettin. To be honest I find the workshop picture better than the original. I think the sun filtering through the branches is a little distracting and creates some green reflections. I do like it but is not as interesting as the workshop. The colour of the sky is nice but I think the snow is a bit underexposed. Cheers :-)

Wow. Shooting against the sun can be tricky, but all I see and don't really like is the green flare on the tree, on the left above the sun - Darlene took care of that in her WS. I like everything else. Excellent control of the light, Alaettin. I prefer this version over your ws version, even with the flare.

Another beautiful aspect of winter in Australia with the unique combination (I believe) of eucalyptus trees in snow. Good POV from below - it increases the majestic appearance of the trees against the sun and blue sky. Well done. TFS! - Cheers, Cordelia :) :)
