[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well Ive been a long time member of TrekEarth (http://www.trekearth.com/members/dvlazar)
but I've decided to upload some of my portrait shots to TrekLens and get involved here too.

I shot this friend of mine indoors with hired studio lighting, with my Nikon D70 one afternoon after shooting another project with her. We are experimenting with the power of veils.
Thanks for any critiques!
-David

This is exactly as the title suggests, dark and moody, good sharpness and an excellent expression on the girls face. Nice work.

Hi DL.

Wow...It's good tht you are here too..

A STUNNING IMAGE TO FLY OFF...
Good composition and a fine light balance.

Beauty in Black...
Salutes.

Hi dave,
Fine model and props
Good strong eyes
Maybe a little shift to the left makes it even stronger

Hi david
very good mistery portrait.

Hi David

This shot seems inspired by the work of Manny Librodo, would I be right? It is always useful for critiques if you mention the PP used (although I know Manny never does.)

Good composition, colour, and excellent background here, although I think the PP work is a little heavy, and it can be very difficult getting a decent result with camera-mounted flash, which I think you have used here.

Keep the work coming!

Hi David...great portrait...the lighting, skin tones and white eyes are great.

Roger

nice shot,good composition, great light

maybe you soften the skin a bit strong, it looks less natural.

good job anyway
