What a lovely cat! I like ginger cats! You have a wonderful capture of this one's eyes. Since I am deaf and haven't been able to enjoy a film for years I have absolutely no clue as to what film it may be LOL

Happy new year to you and yours David,
Perfect pic, a great movie too, wouldn't mind seeing it again one day.
Looks like the roof wasn't too hot for Ranjin.
Cheers,
Pete.

I know I know!!!! Bah someone else got it. Lovely image David and lovely animal from your menagerie. I really like how you have captured the softness in her fur but yet the eyes are so sharp. Well done. Great for the theme.
Regards
Wanda

What a beautiful feline, and I like his stance. Nice capture!

Great cat pic couldn't tell you what movie it is I thought Garfield unil I read the date and award nominated (not garfield by a long shot) So I read the critiques and will cheat by saying Cat on a hot tin roof. ;) TFS

Whatever the movie (*__*)
This cat taken on a 'hot tin roof'looks a little angry.. but that adds that little special we like to see ....
Well done Dave

Hi David,
In french, this film was titled : Une chatte sur un toit brūlant"! Here, this cat seems to flee the baffle of family. :)
Excellent interpretation with nice POV, composition and colors!
Bravo! Annie

Bonsoir David,
Lovely composition of your photo for the theme, 'Une chatte sur un toit brūlant' with my favorite actrice in Liz Taylor in the time.:) I love the portrait of the cat and she is so lovely very well done.
Michel

Hiya David

Superb shot here and really well suited to the title., funnily enough I had the same idea at one stage for this theme but there were no tin roofs in the area for me to plonk my cats on to photograph them. Lovely work

TFS and for joining in the fun

kind regards Helen

Hello David,

As you can imagine, with cats of my own, the idea of a cat photograph was top of my agenda! I didn't have a tin roof, my cats are certainly not aristocats, I even thought of cloning a woman's face on the cat as Cat Woman! Then I lost inspiration!

Yours has worked perfectly although I do have feeling that Ranjin is looking for the shrimps that you promised him for spending time on this boring roof! Great addition to the theme!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

David

interesante ejemplar un misterio bien lograda

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof? Nahhh...it must be Fritz the cat!
Anyway a nice shot of this pussy and that tin roof :-)

B-)
Betsy Burt

I remember seeing that movie always very late as i was a teen. They always pass old movies late on the regular TV.
THe photo please my it's presence! The pale tones if this cat are well captured! The posture is workful!

Great clue. Could only be Cat on a hot tin roof. Never saw the movie but the live performance was great. Hope 2008 is a wonderful year for you and your loved ones.

Hy David!
Very beautiful Cat...
Great color and light.Congrats!!!!
Greetings from Istanbul.
Deniz:)

Oh, a 7.9 on IMDB, so it is also a good movie.

Image quality looks nice, however it is underexposed. The only white is from the border you made, then there is a big gap in the histogram.

TFS,
Pedro

Hello David
He's the prime example of an agitator for cutting a fine figure on top of a kennel!!!
Nice depiction on fur.
Have a g'day.
