| "Double delight" is the name of this hardy rose. The name refers to the radiant colour and the sweet smell of this type of rose. After years of drought and then recent heavy rain, the roses seem to have survived OK. |

Hi Murray,
Reds are tough to photograph but you controlled it well. The petals are sharp and the swirl is evident. A worthy macro posting. Greetings from a damp wash D.C. Danilo
Hi Murray:
Beautifully capture & presented...
great high contrst work you beautifully well on this...
and wonderful saturations to bring this glowing effect on the petals!
David
Hi Murray,
So you also post here in TL. Very sharp image with very good color saturation. Nice dark background to make the flower really standout. The water droplets is a good inclusion. So, is this what you gave away for Valentines day :) Well composed! tfs and have a nice weekend.
Cheers,
Renier
Hey Murray - colours, composition and sharpness all work for me. the light on the leaves in particular is lovely, I love that deep green. Nice shot.
Good evening Murray.
Lovely RED rose. The only right colour a rose should be,
Like reall love, it survides always.
Cheers from Jan
Hi Murray, Double Delight is the other rose we have have in our garden. It is not an easy colour to capture, I have raely managed to get the red right or the yellow to show up. Nicely composed, good colour on the leaves and the background works well. TFS,
David
