Bush Fire
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
For this week’s theme. Fire is one of mans best friends, uncontrolled it creates devastation. This sort of sight is not uncommon in Australia, flames dance in bush lands like the devils fingers killing all that it touches.
Local residence watched this sight approach their homes, creating great anxiety. In this case they were lucky, it was a controlled back-burn carried out by fire authorities. Despite the night sky glowing orange and flames shooting upwards, you will notice that the tree canopies remain untouched, this indiating things are going to plan.
Months later the bush is reborn with, green, shooting from charred remains. |

TFS and for joining in the theme
kind regards Helen
Wow it looks like a huge fire, something I've not heard of in a while here. I like the darkness of the trees against the bright orange. Very nicely seen, TFS.
