[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sitting down having lunch at the Melbourne Zoo, a peacock strut by, showing its spectacular colours. This is looking at the top of the bird. I had never really paid much attention to the colours on the back of the bird as the tail is usually the main focus. The body feathers are as spectacular as the tail.

Hi Peter,
An interesting point of view of this peacock, indeed we are always quite distracted by the tail. If I were a female peacock I'd certainly be checking out this aspect too ;) Very beautiful, natural colours you have captured. The geometric pattern created by the feathers makes for an unusual artwork. It is all framed well by the blue and the black and white. Well done.

I was looking thru your gallery and noticed this beauty. I also had no idea their body feathers were so iridescent.
Wonderful patterns of colour and detail.
very original POV and well captured.
Lovely gallery you have.
