[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Green Tree Python (Morelia viridis) inhabits tropical rainforests in New Guinea, local islands and the Northern tip of Australia. The colour can be described as emerald green and their length is in the order of 4 to 5 feet (1 – 1.5m).

I often find reptile shots are not popular, but if you look at the detail of these wonderful creatures, it opens a new world.

Good shot Peter,
Clear, sharp and very well composed. The focus on the eye at the center of photo is a very good idea in this shot.

Nice focus on the head here Peter. Good colour and detail and a worthy submission to the theme. I have not seen a live snake (except in zoos) anywhere in Australia for well over 20 years now. TFS,
David

TFS!

Very interesting photo.
Good colors and details.
Maybe your pov should have been a bit more to the left. The snakebody would have been less distracting then.
greetings,
Joop!

This is the beutiful colors of the nature.

Reptiles are fine if presented correctly. Great DoF choice. Wonderful natural textures. The diagonal body and head positions add to the composition. Well seen and presented. TFS. Karin
