New England National Park on a drizzly morning. Trying to protect my new camera with my hat, it was not a pleasant experience.

Hi Nico, wonderful shot, just chocked full of interesting things to see on the forest floor. As a resident of Massachusetts for 5 years long, long, ago, I remember the New England seasons very well. TFS I wish people here would quit clearing everything.

Very nice capture of the nature here, especially those huge fern, I like the mood here, feel like the dinasours is going to jump out anytime. :P Great colours, details and sharpness, nice work!

Hi Nico,

Well, perhaps not the most pleasant experience in the protection of your gear, but the quality of the photograph is surely there. You really get that drizzly feel and I have to say it looks like those prehistoric forests I have seen in Brazil and Indonesia - just a bit lower ;-).

Definitely worth the hassle to keep the camera dry!!! Wonderful rich colours the wet leaves really give it mood.

Sorry for your not pleasant experience but what a beautiful photo you have!
The capture of light renders an interesting play of shadows and light on the undergrowth enhancing the textures and depth.
