[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here's another form the holiday up north. This time from the Cairns Tropical Zoo free flight bird show.

This fella is one of the resident birds of prey at the zoo and puts on quite a show. During the demo, visitors are advised to stay seated as he swoops over the audience at a height of 15-30 cm, and moves pretty fast.

Wikipedia has this to say:
"The Wedge-tailed Eagle Aquila audax) is the largest raptor in Australia and is the most common of all the world's large eagles. It has long, fairly broad wings, fully feathered legs, and an unmistakable wedge-shaped tail. The Wedge-tailed Eagle is one of twelve species of large predominantly dark-coloured eagles in the genus Aquila found worldwide; a large brown bird of prey, it has a wingspan averaging over 2.5 m (8.3 ft) and an average length of around 1.2 m (4 ft)."

GOOD SHOT.
NICE DETAILS.

LAITU

well captured no how hard it is to get this type of shot right well done

Amazing to get the head and body so clearly, they stand out so well against the background. The way the wings look helps to indicate its speed and power.
