My, what a long tongue you have!

The Taronga Zoological Park in Sydney allows patrons to feed giraffes (from a tall platform, of course). My friend Cheryl had been touring Asia and Australia, and happened to arrive in Sydney the same day I did! Since my husband was in Sydney to work, we spent three days playing and a trip to the zoo was included.
We couldn't believe the long tongue on this friendly giraffe. This is a scanned image. Dust and scratches were removed and it was cropped. |

Hello Alli! The look on your girlfriend's face is priceless! Very interesting photo narrative, and a great subject! Great capture, one in a million! Well done! Thanks! Linda

There are moments in which we click by istinct. And the results are these great photos.

Care, is affectionate the form of taking care of these
giraffes, but the expression that you did when
her language was put outside, laughters.....
His expression was of fright or of seeing
the size of the language. It was worth for the picture
entertaining and a good moment.

that actually is quite a long tounge !! Apparantly they are quite tough too as they use them to strip leaves off of trees.
