I was shure it was a montage with oar and the number 2, that could create a sky clock. But it would be nicer to my taste to show the number completely... With more sky it woulf probably give more space illusion!

What a nice view of imagination!
I love that kind of pic.
For the effect, perhaps it would be nice to apply a little torsion in the number 2 and bring it a internal shadow...
