[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here's an experiment that I tried on a canoe trip up the Noosa River (Queensland) earlier this year. I already had a roll full of touristy nature shots, so I thought i'd try something a bit more expressive...

Yes the sun was hot! Paddling up river was quite a challenge, even in the afternoon heat. I felt burned, and I wondered how the Earth must feel!

Very neat! I suppose a lot of people would veer away from taking a shot directly into the sun, but from your note I understand what you are trying to accomplish with the photo, and I think it works very well.
