Once again at my mum-in-laws enjoying the afternoon sunshine. This was at Easter time, so weather starting to cool a little.

The teapot, or rather the reflections on the teapot, fascinated me, so out with the camera.

1/500 sec @ f/5.6 for shallower DOF, ISO200. I also used the on board flash, which just gave it a little more oomph by brightening the foreground a little.

Post-processing - adjust curves, the usual increase of contrast and saturation, crop (you don't want to see my reflection!), add vignetting, re-size, sharpen and frame.

Well this is really unique Phil. Great idea, and great eye to see the opportunity for this shot. Nice shallow DOF and nice background .. the bit of sky at the top is perfect.
Great original shot.

Hi, Phil -
Very creative image. Love what you did with the background. The view on the teapot is superb. Great details and colors of the sky, trees and wooden planks. I might have tried to get rid of the tiny scratches or whatever caused the bits of glare on the upper part of the teapot. I might come back and attempt a WS. Nice image!

Ahh this is nice! I like your creative style! I would not have snapped to this...would have not noticed the reflection! I love the blur in the BG! It's really nice, adds alot to the shot!
