A shot from "Nowra Hill Lookout" near my place. There are numerous communication towers, and a radar for the Navy Base. I liked the location of this tree amongst them, looking well "fried" from the EMF. I liked the way it looks like the radiation is to blame....

Actually, a bush fire passed through here a year ago and a lot of trees were burnt.

People in England really don't like these 'cancer masts' and so the telephone companies now disguise them, one of them now looks like a tree!! So maybe that 'tree' is a top secret transmitter...: ) I like the silhouettes and the upward looking angle, which make the mast look more imposing. Great shot.

On my way to work today, i was reading the "Metro". First page shouted out "Mobile phone radiation is dangerous"...

This feels a bit difrent coming from you Chris. It reminds me a bit of Avgur's work. High contrast, strong siluettes, shapes, forms and compo.

Following up on Midnight_sun's comment about teh populatirty of these mast's in England. Not long ago, there was a case presented in teh high court in Sweden regaring a mast that had been put in to a flag pole. The thing is, you don't need a permit to put up a flag pole but you do for a mast. The out come...a mast is a mast whatever it looks like. Take it down. Just a story from the other side of teh globe :)

A very good shot and a very good note, Chris. Yes, the cellular jungle is everywhere, and is well captured in your photo. Nice sht.

very nice composition Chris, i like the colour of the background sky. nice title too. well done

Nice angle Chris and a very nice compo, here in South Africa most of the mobile phone masts are also disguised as some kind of tree, but I think it is purely for cosmetic reasons.
