Beautiful bird. I like everything in this shot except for a bright log in the botton left corner. It distracts a little (perhaps, a burn tool in PhotoShop would make it look better).

Hi Lindsay,
A wonderful capture! I love the expression on the cocky's face and particularly the speckled pale yellow markings on the black feathers. I also like is beautiful open crest. It is as if he is wearing a crown. Well composed!

The black Cockatooare just Beautiful, Beautiful in every way. Excellent Focus. I agree with claudia with the crown and the yellow spots, thats what makes the bird so intersting.

hey...this is nice...extremely well cought. is it yours, or is it shot in the zoo? i think there is not many out there in the wild?

i like the background fitting with the feathers...the whole thing with colors gives a nice mood to the photo. maybe a bit deept DOF would add to the sharpness, but anyhow...good peice of work. tfs, alan.
