This is a nice shot Claudia. I like the mix of colours in the background and I think they contrast nicely with the cockatoo's white.
On a side note, how are you finding that Sigma 70-300 lens? I've been considering getting something similar and I don't have huge $ to blow on some of the more expensive tele lenses. This and the other variations of this lens seem to be a reasonable option for a lower price, so I'd be interested to hear your opinion :)
