[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Horses at Eagers Creek on Moreton Island, which is 25 miles east of Brisbane, in south east Queensland. Sadly, all the horses were removed by the EPA (Environmental protection Agency) in the mid 1980's, for the reasons that they ate vegetation that stabilised the dunes, & trampled tracks through the grass, & thus caused erosion.

Mt Tempest in the background, is one of the highest sandhills in the world (800-900 feet).

A lovely & peaceful scenery well captured! I like the tad of action added by the splash they create in the water... gives realism to your image... Well composed and pleasing to look at

Lovely scenery. I like horses and seeing them in action. The mild splash in water adds a little bit of dynamism to an otherwise peaceful scene. Gerat work.

A picuture with calming effect Chris. Horses' movement has surely added special dimension to it. Lovely subtle colouts too. A very happy picture

Looks so tranquil. Remind me of the Australian movies. They always have these great scenery shots.

Its so nice to see the horses running free, but sad to know they were removed from the area. Very nice composition and colours.
