there is an interesting framing dilemma here. do you pan right and concentrate on the shadow, but lose the clouds OR do you pan left, lose the shadow and some of the trees and concentrate on the water and clouds, leaving your partner in the bottom right corner? if it were me, i would have done the latter. lots of potential in this shot, which is why i like it!

What a lovely place! The lighting is gorgeous and the resulting gold and pink tones are so beautiful. Great shot looking down the coast with the green mountain at the end in the background off-center. I would have had her positioned a tiny bit more to the right but it's an excellent photo. TFS!

You will have noticed by now that all your pretty flower macros are not drawing the crowds whereas a pretty landscape and a pretty girl always will. I think you somehow managed to darken this a tad too much, but there is a nice atmosphere to it, and the place is absolutely gorgeous.

Hi Tim,
Gorgeous colors presented on a beautiful palette. Good placement of the subject, nice detail in the shells in the foreground, and I like how your subject is in light, while the background part of the shore is in shadow. The window in the sky definitely adds to the mood of the shot.
