I figure the cables are there to support the lightower during hingh winds and storms. Interesting structure indeed. Very different from the ones we see in in the rest of the world. You did very well with this composition. The vertical format to include the tower and a good portion of blue sky. The colours seem very natural and overall this is an excellent image. Thanks Achim.

Hi Achim,
What an intriguing Leuchtturm. You have to place him central in the picture to included the ropes that keep him in place. I tried to lighten up the water sothat the reflection is more clear - not sure if that worked out (see WS).

Apparently for the guy who will change the light when it burn... Better not jut go by walking. Or perhaps it's just because we are under a very dark clouds, it appaat like a big dark swamp!
I never saw a model like this one. Addapted to the land if we can say! As the ground is not very strong in a place like that i understand the cables! I enjoy that cause it could be a light for humains too..: She say stay away... Swamp for humains... Land for boats! :)
