| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Beauty in the bush..besides Janice and I, (lol), I came across these lovely dying fern fronds first turning brown then silver, I thought them very eyecatching, as Janice and I walked through some bush in the park in Albany the other day.
Critques and comments always welcome.
Thanks for your visit
Dawn.
p.s. Im off to meet Jancie for dinner tonight, then we are invited to Pams sons (coasties) first photography exhibition, so that should be interesting..
I will have to keep my eye on Jancie though, she does play up sometimes! :-) |

Yes, and NO!
Yes, the ferns are beautiful in all stages of life.
And NO, I do NOT play up EVER!!
These are Silver Ferns are beautiful even like this Dawn. The upper side of a Silver Fern is green, and on the underneath side it is quite white or silver.
As they die they go the rusty colours (seen in the BG) and then later on they turn quite grey, as these ones show.
Well captured my friend.
Now I hope you made it home ok tonight - I had to keep my eye on Dawn tonight - we had a great meal out, and Pam's son, Jason, had some amazing bird photos on display - quite wonderful...

Superb layers here, Dawn -- and the details are spot-on. It looks as if the ferns were silvered with frost thanks to your lighting: superb work.
(hope you made it home safely!!)
