The world upside-down; I'm looking at wonderful autumn ciolours in Zürich and you have superb spring impressions in Auckland :-)

Grea soft colours , and the sharpness is strinking all the details of this delicate blossem are well exposed. Great posting Janice, really cheerful.

Hi Janice. Beautiful photo of cherry flowers with details of the delicate petals. I like the composition DOF and POV as well. Great post.
Nice note and I always wondered why they named a restaurant Sakura in my neighborhood.
The one I have will have to wait another 5-6 months to bloom.

Hello Janice.
Oh oh, SAKURA, you bring the best memories into my mind.
Sakura was the name of my Judo club, as the Trainer Henri Seriese (whose name means Cherry flower, so in Japanese Sakura)
Black belt in Judo on my 16th, and a year later brown in Karate.
As a junior (16) 4th of the Netherlands.
As senior (17 year) second of South Netherlands and of The Haque.
So, the Sakura Blossems means a lot to me.

Hello Janice!

The grey day was a perefect day to capture the delicate tones of these flowers. The details, the colors and textures are spot on. IMHO, It would have beeen imposible to achieve that quality on a bright sunny day.

Tight framing , and composition well done with an off-centered subject to avoid a too busy image. The image spaces are necessary to attract attention to your main subject
