[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I've been a bit quiet lately, computer packed a sad.
Couriered down to Steven (Superaudio). He did a brilliant job, even upgrading to MS Vista.
On getting it back, my PS Elements 3 wouldn't work...too old!
It was a good excuse to drive down to see him, and get MS XP put back in.
Consequently, I haven't had a lot of time to take photos.
This is an old camera club entry from 1989.
I couldn't find the neg to scan, so put the print on the floor and shot it.
The shot was taken from an overbridge in Albert Street in the city. It was late afternoon, and people were leaving work to go home.
Although it is in colour, I desaturated everything but the girl.

What a great idea and great image, Peter. I like the desaturation and how the shadow is actually facing us. What great timing. Sorry to hear of your computer woes, but seems your back on track. Taking a photo of a photo seems to work very well. Well done.
Warm Regards
Wanda

Hiya Peter

Spot on! Just the sort of capture for this weeks theme, not an easy one to take but you have handled this one very well. I like the choice of selective desat here too.

TFS and for joining in the theme

kind regards Helen

Peter - great photo for the theme, especially noting the effort you had to go through to get it on TL.

Shadow detail really catchs one's attention.

So fitting to the theme with a brilliant creative edge. One of those shots that makes me think: "Why didn't I think of that?"

For a photo of a photo Pete and excellent result. Top work on the processing and a good find for the theme. MS had two failures in my opinion, ME and Vista,

Hello Peter !

Pretty cool choice for the theme. I specially the shadow and how well proportioned it is. Not much distortion in it.
Great idea too to desaturate Everything but the girl (^_^).
Have a great weekend.
Well done!
Robert

Impresionate punto de vista, felicidades por la imagen. :)
