I went to Auckland Uni today to have lunch with a friend, as we walked down Queen St I saw this reflection on a building that seemed to be a strange pink colour...I quite liked the effect =)

Hi Cadi, nice photo. The reflection looks very interesting, the colour from the tinted windows looks great too. I can only imagine a shot like this at night time. TFS.

Hi Cadi..Great photo you got while in town today, (it would be a good one for my next photo club assesment..called "Looking up")

Interesting to note the contrasts here, with the mainly glass building next to the steel one.. and lovely reflection of the sky tower.

It would have been a good day for taking photos... not too sunny!..You captured great colours.

Well done
Regards
Dawn
p.s where in Auckland to you live.

Hi Cadi,
Excellent capture of the reflections, crisp and clear a special view of the Skytower. Despite the leaning buildings (with a simple photo program you can correct the perspective slant) a fine imapression of Auckland.

Nice Cadi - a different view of the SkyTower.. I like the tint in the reflection.. As Hans says there are ways of straightening the tilt.

Cheers

It is interesting going around Auckland to see where you can find the sky tower reflecting in the glass of the buildings.
The pink tinges make it look like the sun is setting, but I realise it isn't. Nice colours.

Well done to spot this and realise the potential Cadi. Well done.

Hi Cadi,
I took this identical scene the day I bought my new lens from Camera and Camera opposite these buildings.

So you hang around camera shops huh?....just kidding.

The light on the Sky Tower reflection works nicely with the patterns of the glass.
Cheers,
Pete.
