Taken at the Auckland Festival Queens Street Sing Sing as part of the Auckland Festival.
Celenod, from Mare Island (Nengone), is one of the most renowned kaneka bands, performing music based on the traditional dance rhythms of the Kanak people. Their diverse mix of dance music includes bamboo, leaves and wood percussion, acoustic guitar, polyphonic vocals derived from religious choirs, along with electronic instrumentation.
In this photo one can almost 'hear' and 'feel' the beat of the music. |

Hi Dennis,
A fine artistic action picture. I like the motion blur here. The image is well composed too.
Hans
