| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I was in the central city part of Auckland for a days street photography with a friend. I had just bought the Nikkor 50mm f1.8 and keen to try it out. Waiting at the pedestrian crossing the red colour caught my eye then the sun came out from behind a cloud illuminating the scene perfectly. |

Hi Carl,
Interesting photo. Nice deep red with great clarity.
I would have liked to have seen a note accompanying the photo so I knew the reason behind why you took this though.
TFS,
Scott.
HI Carl,
nice to see you here again, I like what you've done, the red stands out perfectly!
will update you more via email

Hi Carl, great abstract photo with a real focal point, good on you for snapping this
Carl,
Great composition. The lines in the paving work well. Well spotted.
Regards
Dennis

The shoes stand out brilliantly Carl. RED - always so eye-catching, but here the style of the shoes also helps
Well done
Janice
Very nice capture! A great photo opportunity, the dominant blues and greys in the shot set the shoes up perfectly for their starring role.
This is one instance where central placement of subject works very well.
