Yak 52

A line of Yak 52s standing at the Whenuapai air show, ready to go!
Quite an interesting plane, in that the undercarriage doesn't retract fully (same with the DC-3) which means that it can be landed reasonably succesfully if the gear won't come down for whatever reason. In the flight manual it states that after a landing with the gear up, all you need to do is saw off the damaged parts of the propeller and you're good to go again!
Pretty clever =P |

What a great lineup! So colourful. Excellent POV with this shot Cadi with an interesting colour of the sky. Nice clear photo.
TFS,
Scott.
Nice point of view Cadi, would like to see it enlarged as a Large Panorama, you should get this option with this photo which allows you to add a 400kb large version of this image
Hello Cadi,
I think you've done a good job with the crop - yes a panorama might look better but this looks good as it is. The different colours of the aircraft are interesting, and show up well given the light.
Regards, Leslie
