| This is my cat, Petal. She is fully alert, after being woken by the sound of the shutter taking two previous photos. She used to be one of my neighbours many cats, before adopting me a few years ago, preferring to be the only (pampered)cat, as opposed to being one of many, even if she was one of their favourites. She's 13 years old and lucky to be alive, as she was hit by a car when she was one, and spent a week lying in a ditch before she was found. To this day she has a bony lump at the base of her tail, testament to her close shave with death. |

Hi Alex,
Welcome to TrekLens. Very nice shot of this cute Persian, looks a bit like my cat called Fluffy. There is overexposure on the her coat from the harsh sunlight but that's to be expected when taking a photo of a bright write cat in direct sunlight. Very clear and nicely composed with her feet hanging off the deck.
Thanks for sharing,
Scott.
Bonjour Alex
I totally agree with what says Scott, but should not tell it as well.Great natural with avoiding flasfire.

Hi Alex
Welcome to TL. Petal is a very pretty cat! I like the back-lighting although it has washed out some detail.
We have had long haired cats in the past but found we weren't too good at dealing with knots and tangles. We have two short-haired cats at present.
Cheers
