[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The sub-tropical greenhouse located within the Auckland Winter gardens is a great place to visit. In the large pond there are several different varieties of waterlily. The purity of this white flower caught my roving eye and I liked the adjacent giant waterlily pad.

Wow, what a splendid shot of the Water-lily! The sharpness is so crisp and the POV is simply wonderfully chosen. the shallow DOF works very well here and the offcenter placing of the waterlily make this a very eyecatching shot. In addition, the great contrast bring charm into the picture.

Your title couldn't be better, very elegant flowers indeed. Looking forward to the waterlily season, always plenty of photo ops to be had. Fantastic composition with this one, the sharpness seems impeccable too. The shallow DOF was a good choice, well spotted.
