Find the Burglar!!

Just about everywhere you go in Auckland you can see the Sky Tower. This is view of it from Carlaw Park, which borders the Domain, Parnell and Auckland’s Central Business District.

I was quite interested in looking at all the different types of roofs on the surrounding buildings, and I thought it was quite a nice composition.

But, can you see the burglar?
It wasn’t until I downloaded this photo that I saw the man on the top floor of the building in the centre.

Actually I’m quite sure he wasn’t a burglar – more likely to be a window cleaner, except I can’t see him carrying any buckets or cleaning brushes!!

As I said, I quite like the composition and thought you might too, but then, you mightn’t either. Oh well. . . I’ll be back tomorrow and see what else might please you. . .

Kia ora,
Janice

Well done Janice. I like the scenery with cloudy sky and the trees are in perfect place to add more captivity. Good work.

TFS,
Jomari

Hi Janice,

I like the photo because of the color and its depth of field. Every object in the photo is very clear. So clear that one can spot easily the "burglar". Nice work! and thanks for sharing.

Hi Janice,

Hmmm.. I would have called this "Spot the odd one out!"..lol...We have sky, clouds, buildings, a tower and then, we have the International Man of Mystery... undercover cleaning windows :)

It's amazing what we photograph at times & don't realize what we have "caught" until we load it on the pc.

Well done
Costas

Good evening Janice,
What a nightmare...he must have lost his keys!!!!!
Very good capture. Nicely detailed and sharp.
Good colour and POV.
Thanks for posting, Have a great week.

Very apt title Janice, he wasn't doing some rope climbing? Great even colours with excellent detail and clarity. Well composed shot of your city. TFS,
David
PS Many thanks for your comment on Princes Square II
The leaf was not deliberate. I didn't notice it until editing time.

Great capture! You are an eyewitness and have proof if they caught him! Lol. It is suspicious that he is without his tools...hm-m-m-m.
Wonderful colors, clarity and composition. TFS,
Fran

The differences in architecture are interesting here. The round dome building the tall multifloored building in the rectangular shape, then the tall narrow spire. The clouds clearing just around the spire, make it seem surreal, the man adds an element of mystery too, well done.

That's what I call a hazardous job :) Well spotted.

What a lot of interesting roof lines, you are right - the skytower provides endless opportunities for a photo. Maybe we should suggest this as a clubnight 'theme' - skytower from 2 kms??? Cheers, Karey.
