Hi Darren,
Nice shot, the lighting appears optimum here. Looks more like dusk then midnight. The details look good - some slight distortion in the buildings from the 24mm focal length but nothing a bit of editing wouldn't fix. A step to the left would have got the Sky Tower more in frame too. Good presentation however, the vertical crop suits well. Looking forward to more nocturnal shots from you, this one looks well worth the effort.

TFS,
Scott.

Nice capture Darren, I would have moved a tiny bit to the left just to leave a tiny gap between the sky tower and The Metropolois buiding, a very New York feel to it though, well captured especially at night

Hello Darren,

I like this very much.
Your pov makes a tunnel from the trees, and uses the diminishing line of trees to draw our gaze deeper into the scene. It also gives a sense of perspective.
The moonlight and electric lights combine to give a mysterious atmosphere.
I have read what Scott says about moving to the left but, I like the way the tower seems to peeping from behind the skyscraper. It adds to the slightly mysterious 'feeling' already mentioned.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Darren, nice job with really difficult light. I like it. Thanks, Dave

Nice photo Darren, a few perspective problems on the buildings, (I have just learnt how to fix this).

The lighting is great and the contrast of subject between the deserted park and buildings is great. Well done.

Bonsoir Darren,

Too often night shot present a deep black sky. Here it's nice to feel some clouds texture in a deep blue sky. Overall exposure is good, image is sharp. Composition is balanced. A plus would have been a live silouette as a dog, a cat or simply a human. But as you said, capturing the right light was already difficult, expecting a living trace at the same time was almost impossible. I still love the shot as it is. Great work and TFS.

Alain
