[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Auckland City skyline taken early one Sunday morning not long after sunrise from across the sea at a place called Devonport, please ignore the time in the EXIF information as I still had the time on GMT.
Not had too much time for TL recently due to so much travelling, hope to be able to post on a more regular basis and catch up with everyone.

Thanks for viewing.

Using Paint Shop Pro X2
Cropped the image.
Straightened the horizon.
Resized for TL.
Sharpened.
Added a border.

Hi Derek,
A nice skyline of Auckland City...it seems as if it is made of stainless steele...with all its sparkle.
Good morning lighting and stunning sharpness.
Excellent details in the buildings.
Good elegant frame.
Best regards,

Francis Xavier

Hello Derek,

This shot has a fine composition of horizontal layers, each with its own textures and colours.
It could be a fabulous inspiration for any young child building a city scene from boxes and tubes - my children always wanted to do that!

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Derek,

Strong lighting and great sharpness in the buildings. Quite striking. Good level composition and superb POV. TFS.

Hi Derek,

This is a lovely shot of Auckland that I recognize from some shots that Scott (Sharpshooter) has posted in the past. The pov is great good sharp colours and sharp details well done.

Regards
Jon

Hello, Derek -
I had to open the thumbnail to get the ful effect of this image - the brightly sunlit buildings against the dark clouds are quite striking. Vibrant colors and the details are very sharp. Really great urban skyline.

Great one Derek! Love the way the sun is hitting all those impressive buildings, with the dark rain clouds behind .. really makes the buildings stand out. Nice comp too, with the rule of thirds nicely followed. I like the placement of the tower too.
Great job
Trudy

Hi Derek,
Auckland's skyline reminds me a bit of Seattle's skyline. It looks modern, posh, with some futuristic effects. The predominant silver hues of the buildings is exposed well and contrasts effectively with the grey sky. Very sharp. Best regards...
Danilo

Been there, done that!!
Nice shot of our city Derek from over the Waitemata Harbour. This is a very popular place to stop and take photos.
Crisp and clear to see, and I hope those dark clouds burnt off quickly once the sun rose
