Kristy's back!

... Again, our late Saturday afternoon mid-spring photo shoot at Purewa Cemetery.

Maybe the shadow on her face takes something away from the portrait, or maybe it adds mystery?

PP - crop, cloned out a little patch of bright sky at the very top.

hi Rew
i like this one more then the previous one of Kristy on the same spot
here we have a lot of more interaction with the model
i like the composition, the eyecontact and the atmosphere

I like this one a lot more, Rew. As Marco says, we have more interaction with the model - plus she seems to have more interaction with her surroundings.

The crop has made a big difference, I think. Maybe experiment with desaturation, but that's just fiddling - this is a good shot.

Hello rew

a nice one again :)

did you use an artificial light in addition of the natural light ?

I like her expression, a bit melancholic, that fits to the place

I like this shot Rew, she almost looks like shes grieving over a lost relative, great pose. Good job with the exposure, it's not easy working with a white dress in natural light, but the crop makes it work well. Well done.

Hi Rew,
excellent work, beautifull combination,
good light and details...

Hi Rew,
Love her stare and mood in this picture.
excellent work, beautifull combination.

Hello Rew
Very good choice of dof on this to Keep Kristy and the monument sharp..Maybe if you had kept the whole left hand side of the monument..I say this as my eye leads to parts of the inscription rather than Kristy..The lights good and I dont see the shadow mattering to much..maybe a reflector pointing back at kristys face may have helped but to be honest I really like it as it is...great work and tfs

crop is good
poss needed little more light on face

Hi Rew
The shadows on her face work well at this location - I am noticeing some blotching on her left upper arm - Is that natural or a result of the PP work or my monitor?

Dan

Great pose, initially I thought it needed more light on her face but I think it actually adds to the atmosphere
good work

Hi my friend,

Another fantastic shot of kristy. Love her stare and mood in this picture. The overall white dress she is using for this potraiture surely adds some mystery and eeriness especially if kristy is applying gothic makeup.

Excellent POV and lovely pose.

:-)

1st.... you have kiss from my last model (in the beach with white T-shirt), and she like your pic in intro (mmm...)

2nd...I like this pose and model eyes...
DOV are very nice.
but the lighting its too natural, maybe you can modification with a bit fashion wardrobe
and your model will more stand out.

tfs.

haldian

Hi Rew, You have a way of getting the most from your models and this is excellent. Lovely face. Good creative cropping. TFS. Murray.

This is a really good one man. Where are your sexy photos? I was looking for those ;-)

If you could brighten up her face, just her face, a little bit more.

She is hot.

Sothy

this shot is better than your first shot of kirsty the shadows on her face gives an effect of "mystery" perhaps just right for her location. Her shoulders has some red spots is it because of pp or she has rashes of some sort. But anyway her eyes really has strong impact for this image.

congratulations on your creative shot

Hi Rew:
Great use of existing light and framing:)
You are at you best here...
Very good exposure to show details on the whites and perfect skin tones!!!

Bonjour Rew
Très joli modèle, son regard est mis en valeur par la pride de vue
Amicalement
Sylvain

This one is, IMO, better !
More and stronger composition, BG is just to fill the photo ( doesn't need attention )
Great light on the model.

Her dress is almost perfect : little OE
at her bottom, but that you can fix.

Great job Rew !

Jan

Very nice pose, Rew! Love the contrasts of this ancient stone and the less ancient Kristy. I was trying to see what the writing on the stone says on your other post. Can't quite make it out....
Cheers
Otto

Hi Rew,

Another nice collection and this image is what i liked the most. I see this as more sensual in terms of your models expression.

Regards,
Andrew

Hello (again) Rew,
After the rain and the frost sessions, a cemetery session I see. From this series, this is the one I like the most. I had to think twice to understand why, but probably this is because, to me, the facial expression of your model fits the best with the setting: she seems to be aware of the silent and invisible presence of the people burried there. She looks to your lens, but at the same time, she doesn’t seem to see it. She rather sees the existence of those who passed away.
A little comparison (my personal interpretation, of course): in “Kristy XI”, she looks above all concerned by the pose she shoud take; in Kristy VIII, she gives rather the impression of being a (respectful) tourist visiting this beautiful cemetery; Kristy XIV looks more like veneration (very nice concept photo though, with marvellous light), and Kristy XV, well, it’s an eyewink, indeed ;o).
Just my thoughts. Feel free to (dis)agree.
Kind regards and looking forward to new pictures!
Erik

Me again!
Beautiful picture! Excellent viewpoint, nice colours and good sharpness.
Keep up the good work
Take care

Hello Rew. Nice work of the outdoor shot capturing the texture and mood of the cemetery. Kristy looks fine with the light on her back and the face is still well exposed with pleasant skin tone. Best regards. Jusni
