Hi Janice, great shot and composition with the cactus across the frame and the backlit flower, the subtle lighting looks great and this is enhanced by the contrast with the dark background as well.

A beautiful cactus! I like your POV with this illumination of the flower. Sharp detail and effective DOF used.

I also like the inclusion of the ant which appears to be heading towards the sweet nectar within the flower. Great capture.

nice colour.
the ant has captured wonderfuly, nice defused foreground, i find little noise but that must be because of low light at the certain areas.
nice experimental shot friend.

Hello Janice,I really like your PoV for this shot,and the lighting is something special too.
The sharpness is fantastic, the ant is a nice touch.
I like the dark bg. I haven't heard of this variety of cactus before.
