Beautiful seascape with an interesting POV.
Nice lighting and color saturation with accurate focusing.
Fabulous sky contrasted to the rocks with great sharp details.
A pleasing composition with a nice foreground of the slightly agitated water.

hi Jim

NZ is said to be with very beautiful coastlines which often provide good scenery for photography. And you know how and where to pick your spot to show it best!

This low angle and slow shutter obviously tells me you waded into the wet sand and get your feet wet for this, but not just that, you had to wet the tripod to get the flow of water under your feet/tripod. But very nice effect and I like it.

Good depth, sunlight and blue sky.

Fantastic Jim! The direction of the clouds, the beach and the water all draw your eye right through the shot to the right side. Love the shaded area in the foreground (shaded by a cloud I presume) - really makes the blue and green in the distance pop out. White frame .. perfect again:)

Very impressive and attractive photo. I know this beach well as I used to be a westie. :-)

Effective POV used and I like the ambient lighting and colours. Lion rock looks impressive fully lit in the sunlight. GReat photo. Tfs.

Hello Jim,

A beautifully positioned and composed shot where the lines of the beach and the tide guide the eyes gently into the distance.
