nice composition my friend... and your sigma shows sharpness in this shot... I think it can be an all around lens even if you say its rubbish... well I guess its the photographer thats creating the photo not the lens... and shows very well here... well done... Olá Rew,
I seen not problem with the crop on the superior part from frame. The others elements absolve this little doubt.
Great diagonal and excellent use from reduced strobe, resulting in a beautiful pinkish profile.

hope you are doing well
i don't mind with the parting hair line touching the screen, its not looking odd at all. this pink backlight is a little different for me, as i have not seen this colour, though the golden light is quite often, but the change (for me) is inteersting.
a good sharp face with fine focus and the light is superb as always.

Really nice Rew ... natural, clean and simple.
Nice composition with attention to her eyes on the diagonal. I also like the hoop earring .. stands out nice against her hair. The flying hair is good, and the pink gel is a very interesting affect, especially on her hair on the left. .. the right side seems to be a bit harsher, on her shoulder and right of her eye.
Still, a great shot .. beautiful girl!

I like the purple backlighting on the hair & shoulder. Superb dof, sharpness & shadow detail. Perhaps I'd add about 5-10% yellow to compensate for the blue shadows? Tfs!

Simply amazing sharpness from you "rubbish" sigma and it proves that in the hands of a great photographer any thing can be made to shine. I love the creativity that has gone into this and your willingness to share your knowledge through honest descriptive notes helps us all to appreciate what is involved in getting great portraits like this. I love this photograph and the expression and lighting is fantastic. Another classic!

Nice use of the coloured backlighting. I like the angle of her face and there is room for her hair to blow into. I see no reason to include the very top of her head and this portrait works very well.

Hello Rew, this shot works well;the angle of her head, the hair blowing out behind her, and the pink from the light.
It doesn't bother me that the top of her hair is missing.Your idea of the diagonal line of the eyes is excellent.
