Browns Bay on Auckland's North Shore.

Thee sky was fantastic but I was just a few minutes too late and the sun had popped up over the horizon and was totally OE.
I kept cropping until only the FG was left

Hi Jack,
The first thing that came to mind before I read your note; The sun must have been bright. And, I guess I was correct. I do find it interesting to see that you chose to crop the photo and only concentrated on the broken reflection of, what looks like, a wonderful colored sky. It did make for a very special and interesting photo.
Since human eyes are atrackted to brightness cropping even more from the top might be a good idea. The reflection of the sun does claim most attention.
TFS,
Niek

superbes ces flaques d'océan ou les derniers rayons de soleil se parent encore dedans
les couleurs sont maique tout comme le moment de la capture de la photo
la limunosité est faible mais encore intense et cela donne cette couleurs or à l'ocean et ses rochers
j'adore

The reflection of the sun give a nice golden sheen and adds to the photo I think and makes for an interesting photo.

Hi Jack,
Excellent tight crop on this shore. The reflections of the sky make the image so attractive. The fluidity of dark colors, the luminous blue, and the sun in hedge-hopping make a image with a great intensity and very attractive. Very well done! Annie

Hi Jack

Nice shot of the sunset, like your POV and the reflections of the blue sky in the pools of sea water.
Interesting crop of a sun set.
I like it.

Regards Derek

Oh yes, this is awesome! I have never seen anything like this before. I hope I get to travel some day. I use to travel for work, but I didn't have a camera then. I must have been at the train station when my ship came in.

The frame is cool too.
