Certainly colourful Janice.. I like the 'tilt' here too.. Maybe I'd adjust the pic so that the numbers looked to be right side up - but to be honest I had to look at the pic for a while before I noticed that :-)

Hello Janice,I am pleased that the shopkeeper was kind enough to let you take shots in his shop;this is a lovely colourful study of crayons.
I like the composition with the diagonal lines.
Excellent sharpness throughout the whole shot.

I often go into shops and wonder about taking photos,I wonder why some shopkeepers are so reluctant to allow photography, especially when it is a private person?

Janice this one so far was for me the most fun to look at. first i liked the colors, your choice of angle and detail that was obtained.
Now for the part I liked... started to look for the pencils that where in the wrong place ... found 4 colors (one has two of the same in the wrong slot.

I used to have these! I did alot of art with colored pencils! How neat Jannie! Wonderful shot! The diagonal works well here, better than straight up and down! Are these oil pastels?? Pastel pencils?

Great one for the theme Janice. The colors of the rainbow .. all very vivid and sharp. Nicely composed on the diagonal too.

Oh, I like this much!
What a good idea to present these colorful pencils for the theme!
The simplicity of the composition works nicely with these diagonale lines and vibrant colors. My little gransons would enjoy to see and play with those! The image would make a splendid big poster!

Nice capture! A beautiful array of colours and good use of tilt to deliver them.

Of all the shops you could walk in to, I'd say an art shop would be the best bet when it comes to taking photos - the proprietor, you'd hope, would have some sympathy for the artistic instinct, hehe!

Hello Janice,

I would think shopkeepers would be flattered that you wanted to photgraph their shop! Some people can be such spoilsports!

I like this, with its diagonal lines, repeating squares and bright circles of colours.

Hi Janice,
Very colourful capture - Bet you didn't expect to be using this in a theme 3-years later! Lol. Seems perfect for the theme, certainly 'intense'. I like the slightly angled POV you've chosen, don't think it would be quite the same if it was straight. The simple black frame seems to tie everything together too - Well seen.

The colours are striking, but what I really like is the diagonal composition, this turns the shot into sometign really eye catching.
