[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is my entry for our camera club set subject 'Shadows'.
Two shots, two locations, three days apart.
It's subtle, but I hope the judge will like it.

In July I had the misfortune to have a retina detachment in my left eye (my 'Good' eye. I had an operation that day. Two weeks later, it let go again, so a second operation.
The eye is filled with oil, which means I have very blurred vision.
My right eye is only marginally better, so typing is an ordeal.
Please understand me not replying, I'm hoping things will improve in a few months when the oil is removed.
I do keep an eye, pardon the pun, on TL.

Hi Peter,
First of all I wish a fast recovery!
This is a good interpretation of 'shadows', what more can one present?
Nice composition with the adequate lighting
and an excellent response with the shadow!
Nice work.
Get well soon, my friend!

Hi Pete

Well done. This is brilliant pp work considering your bung eye.

I don't think some of the posters have looked close enough and appreciate what you have done here.

regards

Ralph

Hi Peter,
Get well soon - I hope the eye is feeling better.
Fantastic original shot, great PP work you can hardly tell where you have cut the shadow in. TFS

Hi Pete,
Great to see you back posting again, I must admit I was a bit slow at seeing the transformation into the trail bike - I thought there must be more to this than meets the eye
cheers
Jack
