[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
this is a river that runs along the highway going to tauranga. it's called karangahake i think. it's part of the coromandel peninsula and in the distance one can see twin peaks that help compose a grand scene. i exposed for the highlights of the river rocks and gave me a good exposure balance between the harsh sun and the deep shadows of the scene.

The Karangahake Gorge.
Beautiful shot Gary - although for once I wish it was in colour! This scenery is so beautiful it deserves to be represented in all its facets.
Metering is excellent, composition good.

Great! This work reminds me of the works of the masters. It has nice foreground, middle ground and background. Black and white works well too. TFS.
