| this is a river that runs along the highway going to tauranga. it's called karangahake i think. it's part of the coromandel peninsula and in the distance one can see twin peaks that help compose a grand scene. i exposed for the highlights of the river rocks and gave me a good exposure balance between the harsh sun and the deep shadows of the scene. |

The Karangahake Gorge.
Beautiful shot Gary - although for once I wish it was in colour! This scenery is so beautiful it deserves to be represented in all its facets.
Metering is excellent, composition good.
