Hi Janice,
Outstanding photo. I'm hoping to go here when I visit Rotorua again in the coming weeks. Haven't been since I was little. Looks like I've got alot to look forward to. Amazing colours in this shot, very interesting how it works - thanks for your note. Terrific POV and vertical crop, works well.
TFS,
Scott.

Welcome back, Janice!
You've been missed! So you were in Rotorua! Strong, & well captured colour contrasts, between the orange & turquoise. Good sharpness & diffused light. The people add scale. Tfs!

Hi Janice,
Did I see this before? :-) Of course I did, with my very own eyes! Great capture of the champagne pool, vivid red colours of the iron oxide minerals, nice low POV creating a great image. Hope you have had a great time in Roturua!
Hugs...kia ora!

I really am a fan of the champagne pool, although it also creeps me out - knowing how deep it is, and how hot!
Great capture, this is just as I remember it.

I like this one, Janice - the choice of portrait, the colours, the composition and the capture of the steam are all good...and a nice note as well. Good posting.

Hello Janice.
Nature on its best.!
Nice colourfull picture with thepeople in it adds to interests.
15 mm cropped off from the bottom, imo makes it even more atractive.
Cheers from Jan

Hi Janice,
How I like this awesome view!
You did a good choice with the vertical composition which enhances the great perspective and depth of the site . The smoke is well captured and the intense colors very eye-catching! Bravo! Annie

I can smell the sulphur Janice and feel the heat rising from the pool, amazing transition of colours that the minerals create.

hello Janice,
What I like the most is the layers of color! The human element is imo special and gives the size more meaning! Wonderful notes as well

Hi Janice,
I see you had a nice stay in RotoVegas, this shot is stunning.
Beautiful colours, good composition and DOF, just a little tilted though.
Other than that, I can't fault it.
Pete.

Hi Janice
This is stunning, the orange floats beautifully in this capture. I was down in Roto a few week ago and enjoyed the place so much. A helicopter POV would show this place in it's full glory for sure. Reminds me very much of yellowstone NP in USA, but to me, Rotorua is better. Wonderful note and capture, I hope all is well with you.
Regards
Jim
