Green of Waimangu

Simply the overflow channel from the Frying Pan lake which I will upload in the WS. Shapes and colours from the Algae which was presented to me like this (no saturation or contrast added) maybe trying to present it the best way is the hard part.
More about Waimangu and in particular Frying Pan Lake
Frying Pan Lake at Waimangu is one of the world’s largest hot pools: 38,000 square metres in area, and fed by numerous acid springs.
The lake fills part of a crater formed by the 1886 Tarawera eruption.
It has a flat floor, mainly about 6 metres deep, although some vents are up to 20 metres deep. Lake temperature is generally between 45 and 55°C. |

I like this Jim. Simple abstract shot!
Love the vivid green, and the trademark white frame again is perfect.
Great job.

Very abstract photo Jim, I thought that a ton of PP work had been applied when I first saw this so it was interesting to read that this is how it was to the naked eye. In my honest opinion, I reckon the workshop photo should be posted on it's own sometime. It looks amazing! Deserves to be admired properly, as I don't think too many people look at workshop images. Nice work on both of these great shots. No smileys left for today sorry :(. Hope you're having a good weekend so far, regardless of the weather.
TFS,
Scott.
