[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the unofficially named Marshall Falls located inside the McLaren Falls Park which is about 15 minutes from Tauranga just off the Kaimai Highway. These are a 10 meter high horse-tail shaped fall.

McLaren Falls Park consists of 170 Hectares of Lakeland Park set amongst pastoral farming and horticulture containing one of the best botanical collections of trees in the North Island.
The lake offers year-round trout fishing for those who hold a fishing licence. The park provides plenty of open space, stunning views and numerous meandering tracks through areas of native bush interspersed with exotic trees that provide spectacular autumn and spring colours.

The park abounds with a diverse range of birdlife, up to 42 different species, including the Wood Pigeon (Kereru), North Island Robin and the Long-Tailed Cuckoo.

Sheep roam freely through the grassed areas and therefore dogs are not permitted within McLaren Falls Park.

Lost the EXIF Data when I ran it through Noiseware:
Focal Length: 18mm
F-Stop: F3.5
Exposure: 15 seconds

The foliage in the foreground is not that sharp, there was a slight breeze and with the long exposure time they are abit blurry. Thought about cloning them out but they add a natural frame.

Wonderful shot Ralph, looks like a bridal veil. Perfectly controlled lighting in terms of the water. The crop works nicely too.

TFS,
Scott.

Bonjour Ralph.
Belle capture de cette cascade avec un bon effet de filé dans l’eau.
Le cadrage est aussi bien adapté qui la met bien dans sa nature.
Bonne journée.
Urs

Hello Ralph
Does indeed look like a bridal veil, very silky, excellent exposure. Them muddy tones look superb in my opinion. It gives it a nice mood IMHO.
